TO CELEBRATE THE 1922 CENTENARY, ONE HUNDRED 3 LITRE BENTLEY CHASSIS, PLUS A PARTY OF CONTEMPORARY SUNBEAMS, WILL RETURN TO THE ISLAND FOR A VERY SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE WEEKEND.

W.O.Bentley entered a team of three factory cars In the historic 1922 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race.
There were eight starters In the 3 litre class and conditions were gruelling. Bentleys took 2nd, 4th and 5th places.
A racing legend was born for speed and reliability.
To celebrate the 1922 centenary, one hundred 3 litre Bentley chassis will return to the Island for a very special commemorative weekend.
All owners of 3 Litre Bentley chassis are invited to express interest and will be kept informed. At this early stage, discussions are taking place with the Isle of Man Government to agree a date and establish whether a competitive sprint is also possible.

The 1922 race winning ‘Chassagne’ straight 8 Sunbeam Grand Prix car.
Bentley’s original 1925 Le Mans team car, dozens and dozens of 1920s Bentleys, Sunbeams and a smattering of Bugattis.

Police escorted parade lap of all the cars - His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor will ride on EXP2 as they make its way around the whole TT circuit. See these magnificent examples of motoring heritage and hear the incredible sound of such amazing cars in a convoy the island has never previously witnessed.
